MapleStory 2 Movements Total 3D With Platforming, Vehicles, Voxel Maps
Nexon took a very different way with the design of both MapleStory 2. The forthcoming MMO takes each the casual elements from the Maplestory Mesos original game but evolves it to comprise 3D interactivity, voxel maps with 3D creation tools, and the normal MMO adventuring the initial MapleStory was known for.
I'm no fan of Nexon and I am thankful the FTC took a shiny boot, turned that sumbutch sideways and pushed it partially up the anus of Nexon's bank accounts, forcing them to provide another thought about dangling the fiscal dillweed of greed to the smelly, gaping hole of the financial prostitute known as loot boxes.
But notwithstanding the uncleanliness of microtransactions that oozes off the business practices of Nexon like Stormy Daniels gets the stench of the Oval Office dripping out of the nether regions of her checking accounts, the brand new trailer that Nexon pumped out for MapleStory two is actually competently impressive.
There's clearly no "story" to boot, however, the trailer is a hodgepodge of happiness along with an easel of vibrant pleasure made astir with platforming, bike riding, multiplayer mirth, and enough customization and clothing choices to turn the team of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy into a schizophrenic pool of epileptic ebullience.
Most surprising to me is this isn't just a 3D redo of this 2D side-scrolling MMO.
