Disconnect any cables connected to the computer and switch on the modem. Connect the Netgear router wnr1000 by plugging one end of an Ethernet cable into the modem and another to the internet port of the router. Connect your wireless router to the computer by plugging one end of an Ethernet cable to the LAN port of the computer and another end to anyone of the LAN ports of the router.
