Think Tera Gold, just a lot more over-the-top, and you're on the ideal track. The bottom line is that it is pretty fun, and we enjoyed letting loose with various strong attacks once we'd unlocked them through levelling up.

However, everything outside of battle appears fairly standard -- the kind of quality that you would perhaps expect from a free-to-play MMO. Early quests are throwaway affairs, and the dialogue is immediately forgettable. While we get that many people just dive into games such as Tera because they enjoy the mill, it'd still be nice if things felt more involved.

On this note, at least character creation is trendy. The machine isn't hugely in-depth, but using a assortment of fantastically designed races to pick from, it's easy to produce a hero who looks the part. Couple them with sweet appearing weapons and armour, and you have got an MMO that has a good awareness of in-game style.

All in all, we're eager to provide Tera another shot once the finished launch hits the PlayStation Store. The action-based approach certainly gives it an individuality, and there is possibly a great deal of room for customisation. The PS4's already home to a few free-to-play MMOs, but there's a certain edge to Tera that will put it near the top of the heap.

Gamers patiently waiting for its highly anticipated launch of TERA on consoles may be interested to know that for TERA Founder Packs are currently available to buy to supply players with a small head start plus a little extra equipment. Have a look at the TERA Founder's Packs review trailer below to find out more about everything you may expect from the bundles.

TERA is a new breed of MMO, blending True Action Combat with the huge game world and deep social interactions of a roleplaying sport. "Purchase any of four TERA Founder's Packs to start playing in Head Start at the moment! You'll also unlock items such as an exclusive bracket, pets, and much more.

Created by developer Bluehole TERA initially launched on PC systems back in 2012 and when they'll bring the massively multiplayer online role-playing tera console gold game built on the Unreal Engine 3 2 consoles first next month. TERA officially launches for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Tuesday, April 3. On this date, TERA will be free to play and download in the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. But be warned on launch day that the Xbox One client is a huge 48.2 GB to download, while on PS4 the launching client is approximately a 42 GB download.
