I don't think anyone in RuneScape 2007 Gold any capacity anticipates a plug and play solution nor anticipates anyone in the mod team to break their spine for no pay. Filters require maintenance to properly operate, take spam blockers for e-mail; that's decades of work to make sure that the Nigerian prince doesn't make it to your inbox and hell occasionally it still doesn't work, sometimes my 2FA ends up in spam, but we don't delete a spam filter. I just wish to clarify that I'm not here grilling you in some presser or something simply having a conversation.
I believe this just strengthens not only the argument for having an Automod notify prospective new posters of this'gentleman's agreement', if not formally separating them. You have a virtual'desire route' going on where your community has made a decision to segregate the material, don't you feel you should listen to them? These are all growing aches and nothing which can't be sorted out with time, its one thing to state that nobody gets the drive or ability to maintain a filter right now but please don't make it outside to be an impossible effort. I also feel like I'm at a soviet court house and the bailiff was just told to shoot the man who jaywalked, bro you do not have to delete OSRS or phishing posts in this case just have automod comment on it with info pointing folks in the ideal direction.
Unless we're talking about a filter limiting what could be stated on the subreddit I am really confused about why anyone would want to skip a filter which supplies them with information. Now if allegedlyy'all tried to knock some key phrases or complaints being chucked around this sub from time to time then yeah it's a'problem' (You men wouldn't be the first game sub to possess it, blink twice if Jagex hasy'all of hostage) for you guys but I don't see a lot of people trying to submit"link - entirely no ph15h guiys" or even"I think this is a de h 1 5 h ing attempt men" or"look at this cool drop I got on ess are ess" just so they do not have a comment in their post from a bot.
No worries about the grilling concern. I am just trying to be more thorough in my answers. The email submission filter was seen as a very low priority mend, and these articles were (and still are) getting caught in other filters, so it was deemed unnecessary for now. However, the other filters are not specifically designed for those articles, so just part are becoming entangled. Once more of those vital tasks are completed, we will look at some of the lower priority ones. It wouldn't take much time to get a configuration set up to begin testing an improved version. Additionally, a majority of subreddit moderation is not visible openly, so although it might appear that we are not doing anything occasionally, there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes as well as approving/removing posts and comments.
Our concern about filtering in this case isn't whether a person will try to skip it, and that comment was just to further the stage that filters aren't always effective. Maybe mentioning the intentional bypassing was a bit off subject for my prior comment. As previously mentioned, the amount of OSRS-specific posts (not relevant to Buy RS Gold ) submitted here is minimal as is, plus they do not amount to a notable portion of our everyday posts. However, those articles are redeemed by others which compare or link to both games.
