If you are a dedicated QuickBooks user and have been facing some issues with the software, then help is close at hand. QuickBooks handles all the finances, accounting, bookkeeping et al. with the help of its simplified and unique software that comes with easy-to-learn tutorials.  It comes in many types of editions and variants designed for different types of Operating Systems.

Using QuickBooks simplifies your life and lets you focus on more critical aspects of your business. However, if your QuickBooks starts to open then closes and does not open, this is the place to get your answers. There could be a few reasons why QuickBooks Desktop fails to start:

  • Inadequate installation of QuickBooks Desktop
  • Longer company name
  • Corrupted Hard disk
  • Damaged or missing QBWUSER.INI file
  • Outdated operating system

Get the Latest Updates Installed of your QuickBooks Desktop
If you are facing such a QuickBooks Closes Unexpectedly, then, first of all, update your QuickBooks software to the latest available version to avoid/tackle such problems. Update your QuickBooks and again try to perform your tasks.

  1. Find and right-click the QuickBooks Desktop icon on your Windows Desktop and select Run as Administrator.
  2. When prompted, enter the admin account’s login credentials and hit Enter.
  3. Now go to the Help tab and click the Update QuickBooks Desktop option, and this will open the QuickBooks Update window.
  4. Go to the Update Now tab and click the Get Updates option to prompt QuickBooks to download the most recent updates released by Intuit.
  5. To install the downloaded updates, you will need to restart QuickBooks, and it will ask for your confirmation to install the updates.
  6. Click the Install Updates button, and your QuickBooks will get updated as soon as the updates are installed.
  7. Retry to perform the same task that triggered the error earlier and check if your issues have been resolved now.
This May Help,
Peter
