Combat is very similar to PSO2's current combat system, right down to PSO2 Meseta the weapons, Photon Arts and Photon Blasts. It's just faster, more portable and smoother. There are no longer Perfect Attacks; rather, it is more like contemporary action games with combos and counterattacks. Dodging and blocking is more fluid for many classes also. Certain classes may observe a difference in drama. There is no more attacking from the air indefinitely, therefore expect to be on the floor more dodging and countering. Attacks and PAs are set up the exact same way they are now with certain buttons performing particular attacks or the 1-2-3 system. As far as PB's go, since Mag's will not be a part of gameplay , they act more like Complex Photon Arts, that have been released in Japan's PSO2 with Episode 6. As opposed to summoning a creature, PB's will rather be a massive attack coping serious damage that needs to be recharged through battle.
Of those three classes they revealed, Force had some of the greatest changes. They finally have a block much like Hunters on top of their dodge, which can be a much-needed addition as they can be delicate and slowed down by Technique charging. Techniques have also gotten better in that they no longer must be charged to use. They now have an uncharged strike that, while not as strong as the billed variant, still does some good damage.
Another great change is that curing items can be employed on the fly. No more getting stuck at a drink animation trying to heal only to be immediately smacked and shed it all without a thing you can do about it. Healing will happen instantaneously in NG at the same time you do more important things, such as dodging. Overall, the combat is receiving a much-needed upgrade while still feeling perfectly familiar.
In Episode 5, after the aid of these on Earth, players discover a mysterious portal that results in another dimension, called"Omega." This world seems driven purely by dream, a world of swords and magic rather than technology and science. Both worlds are in direct contrast with one another, and as the narrative progresses, players will frequently move between them while watching the odd similarities these worlds share. Simultaneously, a mysterious girl who calls herself"Alma" seems, and cheap meseta pso2 she appears to have information about Omega and--strangely--about ARKS.
