I don't think that is it. People are idle. But in regards to businesses, there is that and direction and a hierarchy. It is essentially the job of all that keep pushing individuals to always continue more, and to keep tabs on the stuff, create plans. So to me, when content dries up like this, I don't think it's laziness or an injury. I believe it's intentional. I believe your second scenario may be place on saying at times it seems like theyre being lazy.

Put in cards of African American American trailblazers in the NFL. Contain the first black MVP and Super Bowl MVP, and also the first black quarterback to win a Super Bowl; those gamers are already in the game, therefore EA definitely has the rights. Get the rights to some of the black players. Establish solos with information on race in NFL history.
Get a trainer card the first coach to win a Super Bowl. (Perhaps also Lovie Smith, who along with Dungy the same year was one of the first black coaches to reach the bug game.) Create the Master a 99 Colin Kaepernick. And market packs with the proceeds going to charitable groups fighting for racial justice. There could have been a lot of goodwill, although there could have been some backlash, to be certain. And also the nonpolitical MUT players could have just been happy to get content.
By not releasing 2-3 more promos in this period that was down they've left a lot of money on the table. People would have bought packs. Position personalities, final edition updates, blockbusters or even 4th of July. Baffling a business has addicts isn't currently putting out more content. If I had been a bagging, I'd be pissed. Perhaps there were reductions or capital constraints we don't know about and that's caused the lack of articles but should they still have the resources it doesn't make sense to close down the game so early.
