I used a SGS to train out of 89-99 Power, so RuneScape gold it's certainly an acceptable training weapon if you plan to train power. It will likely replace your Guthans so you can sell this, Ranger Boots are not really a requirement (snakeskin can replace them, sacrificing +5 Ranged bonus). It is at a fairly stable price at the moment and raising, so you won't need to worry about losing very much cash if you sell it later as godswords always have their ups and downs.
I didn't utilize the SGS that a great deal against boss creatures, but it definitely shines against almost all them, in addition to in the Barrows. You can also use it in conjunction with other skills, for example recovery if Thieving or training Agility, and Slayer of course. That is my biased opinion on the SGS being greatest, I would certainly buy it again when I began to train Power.
And if no: which stats should I up a bit? Why should I use the exact ranged-only setup? Or the guthans setup? (I can just about afford it I have roughly 3.2mil money and an abby whip so that could add up to it) Now if I use the ranged-only setup: What sort of gear should I use? Karils? Or black d'hide? And what kind of arrows/bolts? And should I use guthans setup? Which creature should melee to gain health? What kind of ranged-setup should I use when not curing with guthans? Also typically about the inventory: What potions should take with me? Should I buy some purple candies? I know there are a whole lot of questions, but I'd be very grateful if I'd find some answers to them. Thanks in advance,
I was attempting to determine how much time it would take me to receive 99 rc. . .if I rc for 2 hours daily, it'll wind up taking me about 17 months, and that is not likely to happen, lol. I really don't wish to spend 2 years just to get 99 rc. I'm not exactly wealthy, so I need to mine my own ess if I'm likely to do that, and that is an adequate amount (can not remember how much exactly, but it looked like alot).
So, I looked at the fantastic orb undertaking, but I don't understand anything about it. By spending the time to do this, do it save me time? And if so, how much? I read the tut on Sal's page, but I'm still slightly confused. I guess if you guys say it would give me greater xp than normal crafting, I'll just figure it out. I notice it said you get 2x xp by performing the Project. Cuz that would be way faster xp, haha. So, what do you guys recommend for getting my rc up? I hope to eventually become a member again and the abyss would be Perfect for buy RS gold cash if I could get like 92 rc at least (or w/e level for 2x nats)
