The guide wheel seat is only used for the conjoined gearbox. The split body is called the oil distribution plate. The guide wheel on it is called the guide wheel seat. Its function is to support the pump wheel / fixed guide wheel / its two oil eyes, one is to feed oil into the torque converter, the other is to return oil to the radiator.
