Anime is definitely bigger now than PSO2 Meseta was 8 decades ago, however, the animes you mentioned are still the biggest animes. The only'new' huge hit is Attack on Titan, but does it hold up as well as Bleach Dragon Ball, and Naruto ? No matter Netflix/Amazon and CrunchyRoll have increased wildly in the last 8 years so even the non American anime hits get seen more. Regardless, I'm glad to see PSO2 doing! They wanted to make it worldwide and they are using PSO2 to construct the franchise .
Okay? The Vita variant sold more than the PS2 version. The Steam version offered more in 1 week compared to the PS2 version that even Sega said they were surprised by the sale numbers, so they're now going to port more games over to the PC, which proves that his point further. They never ported games because they believed it'd sell like shit, but the series is more popular than they however.
I am new to PSO2, however I am a avid mmo player looking out any that I can get my hands on and I can't stop praising this game and how amazing and fun it feels. There something about this game which only clicks, it has this old mmo texture but is the right ways. The atmosphere of this game is excellent as well. The audio is A+, event like urgent quest give the game a fantastic sense being told to come back to do them and seem the playground bright red and everyone collecting.
The story while not for everyone, I definitely appreciated it and it makes the NPCs feel more memorable, I remember a lot of them and their personality reason behind it. The games does have its flaws however, the render distance drives me nuts, the menus took awhile to get used to and had to do a lot of research to determine how to do things and where to find specific items.
Overall for an 8 year-old f2p mmo is actually holds nicely, I got two 50+ characters now hoping to reach the point I will begin farming gear like nemesis/slave hopefully that the grind doesn't take away the fun from it lol. A bunch all around. F2P is a portion of the business of Sega. The largest drivers of that being PSO2 NA, followed by PSO2 JP according to their'Top 3 Titles in sales for f2p' list.
This previous quarter (Apr - June) PSO2 NA was their only F2P Release, which made it simple to realize how much $ PSO2 NA made. They normally don't violate these #s out, but it was neat to see PSO2 NA out made PSO2 JP this quarter. Edit: Removed the dollar sign from the yen figure. Im more than happy to have bought about 50k AC and 6k SG within one month, will and likely will do it because PSO2 is simply wonderful. The Tweaker team should get a part of the revenue because with no NA PC version would have lost a lot of cheap meseta pso2 players.
