Rev Caves are destroying OSRS in more than one way. Quality of runescape gold 2007 PKing has been ruined, the total amount of gold being brought into RuneScape and sold is from control.I still don't understand why the revs were voted to be in one fucking cave. Why not have them roaming the wilderness like they did in 2008? Rather than concentrating everyone into a single fucking cave, people would be disperse by roaming revs across the wilderness, including pkers. We voted in rev caves and then voted to nerf the cave of nieve. Everybody wants everything to become without thinking about any long-term consequences, efficient.

Jagex has suggested several additions but so have we. And certain terrible content that should've never seen has been voted in by us. I wish the voting system acted more as a powerful proposal to jagex for what we wanted and not the end all be decision maker (minus some very specific occasions jagex overruled it). Of course the problem is you take that strategy and a fantastic portion of the fans shout about it. I 100% agree that fans shouldn't be the arbiters of what makes it into RuneScape, but lots of OSRS feel entitled to that power.

They feel like that because Jagex gave them power. A huge oversight IMHO. I enjoy the concept of having a powerful influence by fans and players since Jagex would otherwise wind up creating Old School RuneScape 3 (with MTX and Evolution of Combat again): Jagex gave themselves the capability to use a time machine and remade items without falling into the very same traps and errors. This does not mean they are able to do so on their own. People in the business change. Shareholders are greedy. Managers need profit and luxurious cars. Alternately, giving too much power to a bunch of wankers who probably have no idea on how best to conduct a business - most of them do not even know what's having a occupation that is serious - it hazardous.

The issue with the voting system is it allows players with no knowledge of RuneScape to vote on issues and issues that impact the game. It's a good idea in principle, but in order for it to function properly Jagex needs to be clear on cons and the pros and possible ramifications of voting either way. They can not continue to put up surveys with no context.

I can't stand the position which streamers take when they inform their viewers"vote for whatever you need". Yes, players must vote however they see fit, as long as their vote is still an educated vote. I'm not saying streamers must be advertising the vote that they prefer, however streamers are usually very knowledgeable about RuneScape and may do a much better job on helping to educate their viewers on the current polls and the possible side effects of their votes without persuading viewers to vote a specific way. Do not get me wrong, it is definitely Jagex's task to buy rs 3 gold try it, but until Jagex gets their shit together it would certainly help if that void could fill.
