The gaps between them are small, although the four races are divided into PSO2 Meseta female and male. Humans are humans. Newmans are ears. Casts are androids though the ones are currently looking in relation to feminine ones. Deumans are individuals with horns on their head and heterochromatic eyes. The gaps between them are cosmetic.
The six beginning courses are Hunters (swordsman), Rangers (long range gunners), Force (mages), Fighters (speedy melee), Gunner (close ranged guns), and Techers (support). Each of them comes with their own skill trees. Skills are just modest standing bonuses, but a few can alter the way a course is performed. The most noticeable differences for me in the Techer and Force courses, which each can turn you of their status effects like effect into an bomb instead.
Phantasy Star Online 2 opens broad with the sub-class system at level 20 (this should take you around half an hour if you follow Phantasy Star Online 2's tutorials). Upon finishing a quest, you unlock a sub-class that gives you 20% of the chosen class's stats and the ability to utilize the weapons the sub-class can. The sub-class can just level up to 55 unless you change it to your main course and it earns expertise at 10% of the standard pace, so you'll have to change it out at a certain stage. Not all abilities are shared though and these are indicated with a"Main Class Only" type of message. Many people wind up choosing Hunter for your damage bonus, but you can use Force and Techer to provide access to magic too or sub-class a Ranger so it's possible to use a Rifle onto a mage.
Every area of Phantasy Star Online 2 is created between layouts. Spawns may also change, so things can be different each time you go throughout the map. Prior to attaining the preparation area for your 13, most areas have two areas. Defeat the boss and the stage ends. Some phases just have two areas and the objective is at the end of the next area. Based on the layout, some enemy types are more likely to spawn compared to many others, which makes it difficult to get certain spawns to occur if you are not aware of this. Phantasy Star Online 2 also utilizes a smart loot system, making drops favor the course you are using. If you're using a Force or Techer, then you will realize a lot of spells (they're known as Techs in match ) fall while a Hunter will see more weapon skills (known as Photon Arts I believe). Generally, the greater the amount of stars on equipment or the greater level the disc is, the stronger they are. Weapons currently go around 13 celebrities while armor goes up to 10.
Hitting the feeble point will deal extra damage (some weapons benefit from not hitting the weak point though). On many bosses, the weak points are part of their mechanisms and it can be hard for the near ranged classes to strike them without the right skills or the double jump capability (unlocked at level 40). They may be prevented by destroying certain parts. There are also rare forms of many enemies which have different abilities and pso2 sales a higher chance to shed a rare product. All uncommon enemies right now additionally drop badges which may be traded for adequate 12 star gear.
