These large grand master quests require us

I can relate to this impression that the gods were RS gold these almighty beings back in the afternoon. Wielding a Zammy book made you feel like you had a bit of greatness. Sometime because I've mastered it was disappointing to hear people are farming gods, I'm not at end game so can't comment too much, but it simply doesn't feel appropriate. I loved (and recently re-love) RuneScape as it's so cool and you may just go and take the function as a very simple fisherman for a few hours since you really feel like it. I don't want to be the world slaughtering gods among hordes of other players/demigods' saviour. However, I am probably older than the playerbase now. Maybe the profitable (younger?) Playerbase react positive to the god complicated thing, it's definitely the trend in MMOs.

Pretty much everything you've said and I agree. While Guthix Sleeps is by far my favorite RS3 quest, and there are other 5th era ones that I'd like OSRS to perform their spin on, such as portion of the Mahjarrat. The entrance into the age, and the World Wakes was when I lost interest. I think I put me off RuneScape game more. However, I must say I. The simple good, poor, and equilibrium variations were not very interesting to mepersonally, but which makes Saradomin more authoritarian and the Zamorak longer'survival of the fittest' made them make more sense, as there was a real philosophy behind them.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying, but I feel as though your whole concept that the player should not be significant or a"main character" in an MMO is completely off base. The entire point of the development of quests is that you just advance toward something, such as being a saviour etc.. And even with that we are at this point in OSRS. In MM2 we stop a plot to destroy the whole world in song of the elves we kill the fragment of a real GOD to rescue an whole race, I really could go on.

These large grand master quests require us to buy OSRS gold to be significant to the plot, otherwise there wouldn't be any point in the pursuit present, it would just be infinite exposition and cut scenes as we saw someone else take care of the problem. And as for the whole gods being marginally less mysterious and all powerful it was bound to happen, the entire point of creating enigma and amazement about these characters would be to eventually utilise it in some way, it was only natural they'd need to make something larger to take it's place later.
