She explained that the generous gentleman, who asked to remain anonymous, gifts lottery tickets "every now and then."

Taylor added that even "when he does, he still tips regularly."

"It’s just something nice he does for us," she told the New York Post reported.

She realised she had won a large sum while scanning the ticket at the bar's lottery terminal the next day.It told me I couldn’t cash it, that I had to claim the prize at a lottery office because I won $50,000," Taylor said.

After realising what had happened she was overwhelmed with emotion.

She added: "I kind of stood there for a second, looked at the cook and then looked at the ticket before I started laughing and then I started crying.”

The bartender said she doesn't have any lavish plans for the money and instead intends to pay for necessary dental work. She doesn't plan to quit her job of nearly-three years at Bleacher’s Bar either.

Taylor said: "No, I’m not that kind of person. And this is not going to sustain me for the rest of my life. I still have to work.”

She added that her coworkers and friends have been "supportive and congratulating" her for the win.Taylor claims the money took "kind of a big hit" after taxes but she is still delighted.

She added: "Honestly, I haven’t had anybody say anything negative to me at all."
