I'm sure if you can't do push-ups that some other strenuous exercise would do the trick like jumping jacks, or running in place or the forward standing knee lifts and arm swings-maybe do 50 without the push-ups instead of 25 with. But you have to really push the envelope for how hard you work for the less-than two minutes.

It works for me every time. I hope it works for you because RLS is just excruciating. I feel guilty when I see all those ads about people who are suffering and have to spend their money on drugs which have all the questionable side-effects. So I decided to write this essay and get the word out that there is an alternate cure.

Check with your doctor if you are healthy enough to undergo two minutes of really intense exercise that gets you heart rate up to maximum. I am 72 and my normal heart rate is 78. After my 1 minute and 15 second exercise my heart rate is 144, exactly double my regular heart rate. I also swim every day and do yoga. I'm 5'5" and my weight is 125 so you can see I'm pretty healthy for my age.
