Studies have found that medium-chain triglycerides supplements are beneficial for athletes and people exercising.
In 1995, a study by Jeukendrup and colleagues found that an intake of MCTs together with carbohydrates during prolonged exercise increased the rate of MCT oil oxidation.
Specific results include increases in muscle strength, reductions in body fat, reductions in body mass (especially for females), increase in glycogen sparing and enhanced physical performance.
While there is no one supplement type that works for every single athlete, medium-chain triglycerides supplements are definitely one you should try.
