Some say I am dramatic at times. However, to Hair Revital X Review most women and men, just thinking you're losing more than the usual amount of hair is something to be dramatic about. For women, our hair is considered our crown and glory. For men, well let's just say, a full head of hair can be your "calling card." When the tub drain starts looking like a little hairy monster has emerged, you may or may not have reason for concern. Just don't panic. Not all hair loss is a sign of balding. Twice in my life I noticed that I was losing more than the usual amount of hair strands. However, two urgent visits to my dermatologist revealed I was NOT going bald. What caused my temporary hair loss?

The first time I experienced hair loss, it was related to stress. Too many major-life changes occurring at one time, in combination with my body's adjustment to the birth control pill, resulted in an excess hair loss. The fix was easy--in time my body would adjust and balance out. The doctor indicated there was nothing to worry about since I had been getting new hair growth all along. (New hair growths are those fine hairs you see sprouting from your scalp!) He was correct. Within the following weeks my hair loss resumed normalcy. The second hair loss episode, many years later, was caused by the reduction in my calories over a period of about two months.

This was another easy fix. My dermatologist recommended a daily multivitamin along with 1000 mcg of biotin. He said it would take about a month to kick in. It worked.Bottom line is don't panic. The normal amount of hair loss is between 150-200 hair strands a day; give or take a little each way. If you are noticing more than the usual amount of hair in your brush or shower drain, see a dermatologist. With blood work he should be able to detect the culprit. There are many temporary causes for hair loss that can be remedied.
