Where was God with His angels to protect 10 Minute Awakening Review them, and to forewarn them not to go too far into the river? I wish that I could come up with an explanation, but I have none. What I do know is that all of those innocent lives are now in the arms of God. Still, the loss of one single child is a terrible loss. I ask, "Were the parents ultimately responsible for saving the lives of those children?"
In my life, I have seen many of my relatives and friends pass away, either in the Vietnam War, or from cancer, sudden heart attacks, accidents, old age, and one nephew to suicide. All that we can ask of God is to let us live long enough to see our children become adults, marry, and raise their own families. I believe that afterward, when we are old to very old, we can all go home forever in peace. To know the mind of God is beyond the capacity of human beings, but we can get closer to Him if we simply learn some basic guidelines which I will share with you.
Consider these thoughts for they have assisted me to live my life in peace as a son, a brother, a parent to my children, an uncle to my nephews and nieces, and as a friend. To be close to God, pray every single day for your life and that of your family and friends. Ask God directly to guide you and to protect you. Literally give your life to God. You will not regret it! Feel it in your heart that He is with you at all times of the day. Make time for God. If you can watch television and/or do sports all weekend long, what do you expect for God to do for you and those you love when you need Him most?
