The overwhelming majority of diabetics have  Blood Sugar Formula Review been told that diabetes has no cure-based on the premise that the cause is unknown. Yes, Dr. Young's discovery sent shockwaves-but for the most part the shock was that a multi-billion dollar industry was delivered a wakeup call. For as long as human beings walked this planet, the immune system it was equipped with has kept it healthy. The body and all of its related functions evolved to the point that when alien microbes invaded its space, the immune system destroyed them.

But as man evolved, so did his diet. Researchers studying why people in under-developed countries contract fewer disease than we in the Western world fall victim to. The outcome of this research was simply that western peoples developed a diet that has been smothering the immune system generation after generation. It began with the Industrial Revolution, when manufacturers began offering prepared, pre-packaged foods and a new genre of things to drink. The western diet leaned toward the carbohydrate side. So we began consuming more sugar and starches, which are converted into sugar during the digestive process.

Today in the U.S, and many European countries, we have become a Fast Food civilization. High calorie, high carb meals are the norm. So much so that 1/3 of the U.S. population is overweight-bordering on obese. And as mentioned earlier, obesity and diabetes are closely related. A word here about what diabetes is: The function of the pancreas is to convert sugar into glucose. Insulin produced by the beta cells in the pancreas carry the glucose to the cells throughout the body, which they convert into energy. No glucose-no energy.
