FC Seoul's Ki Sung-yueng has won the final Goal of the Month honor of the season.

The Korea Football Association announced on Friday that Ki Sung-yong has been awarded the October-December K League Goal of the Month by Dongwon Spring Water.

Sponsored by Dongwon F&B, the 홀덤사이트 Goal of the Month is awarded to the player who scores the most impressive goal each month. Two nominees will be selected and the winner will be determined by 100% of fan votes through the K League membership application 'Kick'.

The October-December Goal of the Month covers six matches from rounds 33-38 of the K League 1, and was contested by Ki Sung-yueng and Ataru (Ulsan Hyundai).

In the 35th round against Suwon FC, Ki attempted a long kick from his own half in the 11th minute, and the ball rattled the net. It was an ultra-long-range goal from more than 60 meters away. Ataru scored in the 36th round against Pohang Steelers, converting a cross from Kim Tae-hwan with his right foot in the fifth minute of the second half.

The "Kick" fan vote was held over a three-day period from Dec. 12 to 14, and Ki Sung-yueng received 6,768 votes (53.7%) to beat Ataru, who received 5,838 votes (46.3%). Ki will receive a trophy and a cash prize of 1 million won.
