Bus to Johor Bahru from Klang
A few years ago, Johor Bahru served only as a Gateway to Singapore. However, in recent years, the city has seen plenty of infrastructure development and this is exactly what has led to a rapid growth to tourism in this city. The moment you step your foot into the city you will come across tall skyscrapers standing right beside each other. These huge towers are beautifully lit at night and are an amusement to watch. Most of the nightlife destinations here are located on the roof top allowing you to gaze at the magnificent skyline of the city while sitting on a drink. Quite classy isn’t it?
After a night of good sleep, you can head to signature landmarks like Johor Zoo, Lego Land Malaysia and the Angry Birds Activity Park. These 3 places are considered to be the best when you are travelling along with your kids. There is literally no end to the cultural attractions in Johor Bahru. Make sure to visit the Glass Temple, the Sultan Mosque, some of the old Chinese Temples, the Chinese Heritage Museum and the Kuso Trick Art Gallery.
If you are looking forward for some relaxation time, you can head to the Danga Bay and Gunung Pulai, which are some of the best recreational forests where you can relax amidst a lot of greenery and come back to your hotel room completely rejuvenated. However, if you are hyperactive and are not the one who sits still you can head to the KSL City Mall which is one of the best options in the vicinity. After a night of drinking and partying and spending the next day relaxing amidst greenery it was time for me to head to my next destination, which was Klang, a small town in Selangor. As per the website there were only 3 popular Operators having daily buses on the route between these two cities.
City Express, J.B. Transliner and Causeway Link were the Operators plying on this route. Causeway Link had 3 buses plying in the day the first one being at 12:30 am in the midnight, the second one at 7:30 am in the morning and the last one at 9:30 am. The total duration of the journey is about 5 hours however, if you book your tickets on a 12:00 am bus you can complete your journey in about 4 hours. If you book your tickets on the 7:30 or the 9:30 bus, it will take you about 5 hours to reach Klang. The cost of the tickets start from MYR38 and go up all the way to MYR50 depending upon the class of Bus you book. J.B. Transliner was the only Operator having the highest number of buses plying every day on this route. The Operator had buses scheduled right from 12:30 am in the midnight to 2:15 pm in the afternoon.
